Ian Hartsoe is a Boston based photographer that focuses on depicting the world around him. He received his B.F.A from the New Hampshire Institute of Art graduating with honors. His tenure their gave him the firm basis in traditional photographic processes and practices that he uses in his art today. Widely shown and published in the New England area, having also been shown across the country.
Ian is an avid traveler, having been around the world visiting and experiencing different countries and cultures. His last trip had him spending seven months in China, and South East Asia. He doesn't have an immediate plans to travel again, but when the time comes he would like to visit South America, or Africa next.
